and Laser Vision Correction Specialist
Cykiert is one of New York City's leading LASIK specialists.
He was one of the first Ophthalmologists in New York to
perform Laser Vision Correction in late 1995, when it was
first approved by the FDA. Since then he has treated numerous
very happy and satisfied people who are now seeing very
clearly without glasses or contact lenses. Thus far not
one of Dr. Cykiert's patients has needed to go back to wearing
glasses or contact lenses for their distance vision. This
is an excellent success rate, unsurpassed by anyone.
Cykiert has treated patients in a variety of occupations
including architects, pilots, dentists, investment bankers,
attorneys and many physicians and surgeons who are his colleagues.
These are people who are extremely dependent on their vision
for their careers and livelihood and cannot afford to have
anything but the best possible vision.
a result of Dr. Cykiert's corneal training and expertise,
and his experience with Laser Vision Correction, he has
lectured on these topics to many other Ophthalmologists
in the USA and Canada. He has also trained many other Ophthalmologists
in New York in Laser Vision Correction techniques. Dr. Cykiert
is also a consultant to other Ophthalmologists who perform
LASIK, and to patients who seek second opinions about having
LASIK or Laser Vision Correction.
Cykiert is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist, Eye MD. He
specializes in Laser Vision Correction (LVC) using the LASIK
(and PRK) techniques; Cornea and External Disease; and Minimally
Invasive Cataract and Implant Surgery.
